I don’t mean to speak for everybody but I wouldn’t be surprised if your rando stat falls pretty hard on deaf ears in this post. Without survey data, or polling done by Evernote on its users, it’s difficult to arrive at any good indicator what the actual percentage of use would be. Where is this 5% coming from? Did you just pull that out of thin air? You could be right, but you could also be very wrong. And I’m pretty sure your rando stat would be met with quite a bit of skepticism. I’m pretty sure, most of the folks above took statistics. You know, I think it’s humorous you come in with a rando stat on a board of mechanical engineers, scientists and university students in STEM against the motion they desire. In general, if you need formatting options, use a program that is specialized to do so. Remember we are talking in other threads about EN being slow, need to speed up, uses too much CPU power etc.

My estimate is that maybe 5% of all users would make use of such a feature. The question is always how much complexity does it add for everybody, just to satisfy the needs of a small percentage of users.

There are many requests to bump up the editor.
